Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian Actress best known as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te are enamored. Emeraude Toubia is also an accomplished model and dancer. She hails from Montreal However, she was raised studying in Texas. Her passion for dancing has been in her since childhood. She has been training in various dance styles since she was young. In her 15th year she was competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia achieved fame after she competed in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010 she played the receptionist of Telemundo the telenovela Aurora. The first film she appeared in was an action drama Tattooed Love in 2015. In the film, for her role as Shadowhunters, Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017. She also won in 2018.
